Please join us for this webinar to find out more about 'intermediary' roles that have been emerging around the world in justice contexts in recent years. This is work our Talking Trouble team does in justice settings in Aotearoa New Zealand. Different terms are used internationally, and the scope of the roles have some similarities but also differences:

- Intermediaries

- Court appointed Communication Assistants

- Communication Support Specialists

- Procedural Facilitators

We've been gathering together what we can find about intermediaries/justice communication assistants around the world and have compiled this information on a clickable map. This work builds on a previous 2020 'Report on intermediaries for justice around the globe' produced by the Fair Access to Justice Knowledge Hub which is an international organisation. I'm the current Intermediary Lead for the Hub and will be joined by other Hub Fellows from a range of countries to present the map and related work.
