Assoc. Professor Pamela Snow is based in Australia and has an extensive research background exploring the oral language skills of young offenders. Pamela has written some fantastic pieces on the blog she started in January this year relating to oral language and vulnerable young people. In particular her piece from April on the language demands of Restorative Justice processes is highly relevant to our project.  If you missed Pamela's presentations as part of her visit to the Talking Trouble NZ Project in Oct 2013, it's not too late as we took videos and you can watch them here.
