We’ve been planning this Talking Mats event for a long time and are excited to release tickets today.
On the 28 October 1.30 – 4 we’re co-hosting (with our TalkLink colleagues) a professional development follow up event about Talking Mats. This event is for people who have already completed Talking Mats Accredited Foundation Training. It is NOT a Talking Mats Foundation Training course.
We will be sending an invitation via email to those who have completed a Foundation course delivered by TalkLink and Talking Trouble, and Talking Mats in Scotland will be contacting anyone who has done the online training with them to also let them know. We would love to build the Talking Mats community in Aotearoa and this might be the first of other PD and support sessions.
We hope to see you there, and if you haven’t yet caught the Talking Mats bug, then get yourself along to a Foundation Course (dates on the flyer). It has been one of THE most helpful tools I’ve ever learnt, and even when I don’t actually do a Talking Mat, the knowledge and skills I have learnt about the Talking Mats framework and practice influences me considerably in all my work.
We’re particularly looking forward to releasing the new Aotearoa Rangatahi Talking Mats set at this event. This will be available to purchase and covers topics relevant to youth and young adults in Aotearoa.
