TTANZ in the media in Australia ahead of the Youth Justice Conference in Melbourne

I'm looking forward to attending the 2019 Justice for Young People Conference: Identifying Challenges and Finding Solutions for Youth and Children's Justice in Australia and New Zealand in Melbourne in November. This conference is being organised by the Australisian Institute of Judicial Administration and I am excited to be presenting about our work alongside my colleague, Mary Woodward from Speech Pathology Australia. Mary is the Senior Advisor for Justice and Mental Health for SPA and we will be talking about the various ways that speech-language therapists/pathologists are being utilised in justice settings in both Australia and New Zealand. We will be talking about Communication Assistant/Intermediary roles in legal settings and the various projects underway in justice settings to provide therapeutic interventions and professional development in the sector. There has been some media interest ahead of this conference including a radio interview about Talking Trouble's work on ABC's radio programme, the Law Report and a piece entitled, Speaking Up For Justice in the Law Institute Journal, October 2019, page 19-20.Hope to see you there.
